Doug Hill is a retired American Chief Meteorologist from Washington, D.C.'s ABC 7 News / WJLA-TV. At Noon, 4, 5, and 6, he was the ABC 7 News meteorologist. He received the "Seal of Approval" from the American Meteorological Society. 


He has also received a Washington Emmy Award for excellence in broadcasting. Hill has previously worked for affiliates in Richmond, Virginia, Washington, D.C., and Detroit as a meteorologist. Hill officially retired from WJLA-TV on September 15, 2017.

Hill was born in Baltimore, Maryland, a significant city in the United States. Prior to joining the US Air Force, Hill attended Towson State College. He served the most of his four-year tour at Andrews AFB, where he received the Air Force Commendation Medal.
