Google has launched a replacement tool Threadit, allowing users to record short videos like TicketLock or Snapchat, which is shareable with colleagues to debate work. The software giant says that the recorded short video allows users to speak without a scheduling meeting or to summarize lengthy information.

Threadit is out there to download from a browser or as a Chrome extension, and videos are often shared in email or chat. Google explains that it "helps reduce unnecessary meetings while becoming a tight-knit team." To use the tool, users will got to talk on to the camera or share the screen. Users also can record multiple short clips which will be stitched together into a unified video message.

As expected anyone can reply with their video message at the ready. Keller Smith, head of Threadit, says, "Talking on over-development, i might send a Threadit to my colleagues in Japan during my normal working hours in Seattle; They reply during the hours working for them in Tokyo. Threadit helped us realize that we were responding at different times within the world, albeit we were working together face to face . Similarly, it seems that users can record short clips beforehand and send them via WhatsApp or email to others also . The tool's creators note that since Threadit comes as a browser extension, it's all a matter of convenience.

If users use the Chrome extension, they will record clips or anything on screen anytime, even from within Gmail. it's shareable through a link. the newest tool has been created by a team in Area 120 of Google's incubator division, which aims to form remote work more efficient.
