In July of 2015, he joined the Fox News channel. He is the author of Inside ISIS: The Brutal Rise of a Terrorist Army, despite being a journalist. He was recently in the news after being injured during a Russian strike on Ukraine on Monday, March 14, 2022. He was injured while gathering information outside of Kyiv, Ukraine’s capital city, which was under intense Russian onslaught. He is currently 39 years old and has reported from Iraq and Syria’s combat zones.
