Diljit Dosanjh joined the protest at the Delhi approach Saturday. The actor-singer urged the govt to satisfy their demands. He has reportedly donated Rs 1 crore to get warm clothes for the protesters. Punjabi singer Singga on his Instagram stories revealed that the Udta Punjab actor made the generous donation and chose to not make a “big deal” out of it.
Expressing his gratitude, Singga said in Punjabi, “Thank you brother, you gave Rs 1 crore for the farmers, for his or her warm clothes, and no-one knows. You didn’t post about it. Nowadays people can’t shut up after donating Rs 10.”
After reaching Singhu approach December 5, Diljit Dosanjh had said: “We have just one request to the Centre please fulfil the stress of our farmers. most are sitting here peacefully, and therefore the entire country is supporting the farmers now.”
He had further said: “Farmers have created history; this history are going to be narrated to future generations. Farmers’ issues shouldn't be diverted by anyone.”
