Muthuvel Karunanidhi Stalin is an Indian politician from Tamil Nadu since 25 May 2016 and Leader of the Opposition within the Tamil Nadu legislature . hes the previous Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu M. Karunanidhi features a son and is additionally the president of the Dravida Munnetra Sangha. Kazhagam (DMK) party . He was the 37th Mayor of Chennai from 1996 to 2002 and thus the primary Deputy Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu from 2009 to 2011.
Early life and family — Stalin was the second Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and DMK chief M. Karunanidhi features a 3rd son, and was born to his wife Dayalu Ammal. Stalin was born on 1 March 1953 in Madras. Karunanidhi was addressing a condolence meeting for Soviet leader Stalin , who died four days after the birth of his child, and thus decided to call his son after Stalin.
Stalin studied at Madras Christian College Higher lyceum . He completed a pre-university course at Vivekananda College, and in 1973 received a history degree from the Presidency College, University of Chennai, Madras. MK Stalin was awarded an honorary doctorate by Anna University on 1 August 2009. Seenin married Durga (aka) Shanta) on 25 August 1975 and has two children. His son Udhayanidhi is Stalin.
