He was best known for his time with Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW), where he became notorious for his willingness to require dangerous bumps and his stiff hardcore wrestling style, often taking high risks and “shooting” on opponents, verbally or physically, including within the 1996 Mass Transit incident.

Young was born on January 3, 1963 in Greensboro, North Carolina When he was five years old, he and his siblings witnessed his father stab his mother multiple times after he acknowledged she had been cheating on him with other men.
