Early Life and Family
After studies in pedagogy and audiovisual techniques , he decided to move towards cinema and worked on marketing for Art films. In 1963, in the company of Guy L. Coté and eight other actors in the film industry, he helped found what would become the Cinémathèque québécoise . He also joins the team of the Montreal International Film Festival and adds a section for children. In 1965, this ardent defender of quality cinema for the youngest started out in the distribution of films for children by founding the company Films Faroun .
